IT Business ConsultantWarwick (Hybrid working)6 Month ContractThis position is accountable for working with Business Unit and Technology managers to understand business requirements and create robust proposals with sound business cases that meet business objectives. This position is critical to translating business needsinto technology solutions, leading the thinking and getting support from various technical elements in the technology organisation.Key Accountabilities* Analyse complex business and IT environments to identify innovative, appropriate and cost-effective solutions.* Responsible for working with assigned business area to develop robust investment plans and manage demand for Technology services.* Ensure alignment of IT and business objectives.* Develop high quality project mandates, business cases, investment proposals, post investment appraisal and other deliverables as required.* Make use of a range of consultancy techniques, methods, and processes as appropriate to ensure optimal outcomes.* Build, maintain and enhance working relationships with management members of Business, IT units and direct reports.* Partner with Business in the development of strategic and tactical business plans. Manage demand and leverage technology to meet business goals and objectives.* Work with Business management to understand their costs and find creative ways to reduce costs while increasing IT value.* Monitor the progress of IT delivery to ensure expected deliverables and results with specific focus on benefits realisation.* Participation on project boards, steering and governance groups as required.* Support in transforming the Technology organisation into a proactive value-added business-focused service provider.* Act as a role model valued Business Partner and help champion these behaviours across the organisation.* Flexibility to travel as role requires.NOTE - if you do not hear back within 48 hours of applying, please assume your application has been unsuccessful, on this occasion.
