Job Description

HR Project Manager - Workday (Talent & Performance modules)Location: Warwickshire - flexible workingSalary: £400-500 per day + expenses (minimum 6 month project)The primary focus of the HR Workday Project Manager is to support Workday, the company’s human capital management system (HCMS). This position serves as the integration point of contact for assigned functional areas within Human Resources (Great Teams!) and assists subject matter experts (recruiting, HCM, benefits, learning, talent, projects, compensation, performance management) with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analysing data flows for process improvement opportunities. You will also be responsible for integrating the Talent & Performance modules into the organisation through data transfer, training & development and ensuring a super user environment. Our Client is seeking an experienced HR Project Manager who has experience of ensuring organisation get the most out of their Talent & Performance modules)The role:

  • Researches current and future capabilities of Workday to understand how the company can best utilise the new functionality particularly in the Talent & Performance Modules.
  • Plans and executes the integration and data conversion activities of the new capabilities through flawless project management
  • Recommend process/service improvements and innovation solutions to streamline processes
  • Use project management skills and serve as overall project manager for HR initiatives related to Workday modules (recruiting, HRM, benefits, learning, talent, projects, compensation, performance management)
  • Produce high quality documentation, including business requirements, procedures, operational and process flow documents, and test scripts
  • Solicits, develops, documents, and manages requirements and provides detailed design and business rule to support the requirements
  • Works with functional users and L&D team to create end-user documentation and training
  • Develop detailed implementation and upgrade project plans for new releases of Workday and acquisition implementations
  • Appropriately analyse business processes to ensure global consistency and simplicity
  • Map business requirements into HRIS and perform fit gap analysis
  • Recommend solutions and alternate methods to meet requirements
  • Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HCM upgrades or patches.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and the technical HRIS analyst in finance to build the system solutions
  • Collaborate in planning, design, development and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications
  • Document processes and results
  • Develop dashboards for leaders
  • Create, manage and report on HR team analytics/metrics
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports and adhoc data requests using Workday
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy in reporting and analysis
  • Analyses internal data and perform research to introduce best -in-class descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive analytics
  • The person:
  • Degree educated with previous HR Project Management experience launching the Talent & Performance Modules of Workday to the business
  • Project Management qualifications
  • Related work experience with Workday HCM System
  • Project management experience
  • Experience of roll out initiatives within HR, training, Super user identification etc
  • Experience with implementations of new Workday releases and business processes
  • Expert in Workday HRIS
