Job Description

RM Recruit Ltd are working with a fantastic charity based in the Warwickshire area who are on the lookout for an Head of Fundraising and Communications on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a forward thinking organisation whereduties include:

  • Managing the communications and fundraising teams and to increase income from funders through internal and external sources
  • Leading on promoting growth opportunities for the charity through continuously developing income revenue across the board
  • Identifying and exploring new revenue streams
  • Ensuring the funding revenues in place are maintained and strong relationships are promoted across the organisation
  • Setting and achieving annual income targets
  • Develop fundraising initiatives, strategy and indicating how they are to be achieved
  • Lead the fundraising and communications teams and their development
  • Inform and review KPIs and achieving targets
  • Lead on fundraising and logistically organising small events and liaison with donors
  • Co-ordinating teams to ensure that funding is allocated to the most appropriate function to maximise income
  • Liaising between the Fundraising & Communications team and the Finance department in the preparation of budgets
  • Ensure that the team are updating and maintaining the bespoke CRM
  • Liaise with Finance Director in forecasting income to the charity
  • Manage and prepare the teams annual budget
  • Promoting brand awareness on behalf of the charity
  • Supporting development of information and communications across the organisation
As the ideal candidate, you will possess experience of leading a team and volunteers and you will possess significant fundraising experience preferably gained in the Third Sector. You will be familiar with a number of fundraising streams including donors,marketing, legacies etc. You will also be proven in securing targeted income and have a proven record in accessing funds and working across the organisation. You will be a confident operator who is no stranger in working with finance and multiple teams andbuilding key relationships with various stakeholders.
