We are supporting a utilities organisation in Warwickshire with a focus on the Green Economy to appoint a Head of Financial Control.Due to expected growth and an ambitious forward plan this client is seeking a high performing finance controller to minimise risk and establish robust financial controls, fluid processes and stellar financial reporting for both statutory and management accounts.As the lead to a team of more than 40 finance colleagues, you will be expected to coordinate the delivery of exemplary finance operations and shared service processes.Ideally, you will:• Provide top down financial control with the support of a dual on and off-shore shared service delivery model.• Deliver desired ROI by utilising BI, Data and analytics in collaboration with the Head of Data and Change to transform and streamline business operations whilst maximising every pound spent-reducing refunds and rebates inefficiencies.• Act as a key partner to the European Finance Manager with regards to strategic direction and operational performance• Take ownership for a culture of excellence and agility in order to push team performance cross the organisation -beating expected performance KPIsIn Return, you will:• Have the opportunity to deliver growth and innovation to an already high performing business• Be able to participate in the international growth strategy• Have the support of an ambitious European Senior Leadership Team Required skills
