Job Description

The world of technology in the recruitment sector is changing rapidly and at Jonathan Lee Recruitment, we constantly seek to improve our service delivery to clients and candidates through the effective deployment of the latest technology and artificial intelligencesolutions.We are looking for a graduate Research Associate to join the team for a 1 year fixed contract to undertake a market research project, analysing the emerging recruitment technology market, suppliers and solutions and providing insights, forecasts and recommendationsto help inform our future technology roadmap.Based in our office near Warwick, this is an exciting opportunity to join an established recruitment consultancy. The role will involve:

  • Apply knowledge and experience of working with AI to the agency recruitment process
  • Research existing AI technology within recruitment and how it is being implemented/utilised by competitors (perhaps globally)
  • Take a blue sky approach to the utilisation of true AI within the recruitment field, modelling potential solutions with existing technology/capabilities
  • Apply AI to both the candidate attraction, searching screening, matching and communication as well as the client delivery aspects
  • Determine the feasibility of different levels of AI adoption from partial (to gain efficiencies at relevant stages) to full and associated timescales to implement each
  • Identify interface requirements (existing and future) to extract the most relevant and optimised purpose from ChatGPT for recruitment purposes
  • Identify human factors associated with a recruitment AI implementation from a delivery perspective - where would human activity be required to fulfil the needs of clients and candidates and to be able to successfully operate an AI solution.
  • Map the entire process and the possibilities of AI solutions at each stage with key requirements, costs where available and educated comments on up and downsides.
  • Identify other technologies that would support an AI approach such as Machine Learning and use of Big Data and how they could be implemented.
What are we looking for
  • 2:1 (equivalent) or above in a STEM subject, particularly AI, digital technology, computer sciences, engineering who can demonstrate some research activity as part of your studies
  • Understanding of technical terminology and digital platforms / systems
  • Any experience in a research role will be advantageous
  • Enthusiastic, able to work independently to structure the research plan, prioritise activities and devise reporting formats and analysis.
