Job Description

Our client is a world-leading manufacturer who are one of the most desirable and recognised brands in the world. Based in the heart of Warwickshire they are at the forefront of technology and sustainability with diverse and exciting sites in the UK and overseas.As ESG Reporting Specialist you will join the Strategy & Sustainability team in an exciting role where the stage is set for you to make your mark and progress in your career whilst working with exceptional people. Focussing on where our client can make a difference,you will collect the required ESG data in order to tell the story of what our client is doing in the present, has done in the past and can do in the future.About the role

  • Deliver quality ESG information via the Annual Report, working collaboratively across the business to deliver content and continuous improvement of reporting standards.
  • Support alignment with mandatory reporting requirements, such as TCFD and keeping up to speed with industry best practice.
  • Deliver submissions to voluntary ratings organisations & standards such as DJSI and CDP, to improve transparency of performance to ESG standards. To bring in new thinking to the business and improve understand of ESG requirements that drive improved performance.
  • Monitor Sustainability KPIs and review performance against targets.
  • Support the Sustainability risk management process.
  • Identify and work effectively with key stakeholders and approval forums.
  • Work autonomously and cross-functionally to deliver the answers to specific questions, making clear and concise recommendations (with appropriate financial analysis)
  • Help the business understand and prepare for key sustainability areas and associated economic, commercial, and political events.
  • Support reporting to senior leadership on project progress and gateway reviews
  • Engage stakeholders and external partners (where applicable), representing the client with professionalism and confidence.
  • Have a positive outlook and desire to make a difference at the heart of the business with strong leadership and a team-oriented approach to work.
  • Balance strategy work with team commitments by delivering a Champion role (such as managing the teams budget or internal communications) throughout the year.
