Job Description

My client is an international electricity and gas company and one of the largest investor owned Energy companies in the world. They play a vital role in delivering gas and electricity to many millions of people across Great Britain and North-Eastern US in an efficient, reliable and safe manner.Location: Warwick Duration: 6-8 monthsResponsibilities

  • Ensuring accuracy, integrity and completeness of actuals and relevant interim and year end disclosures
  • Co-ordinating and preparing key financial inputs for Financial Reporting Meetings
  • Co-ordinating and preparing key financial inputs for entity/ functional requirements
  • Providing financial analysis, preparation and delivery of quarterly rolling forecasts
  • Providing first level analysis and review of financial reports
  • Prepare insightful narrative on key financial reports and Entity/ Functional reports
  • Managing all entity/ functional level financial reporting
  • Build strong relationships across finance and the entity to ensure ensure financial deliverables and timescales are agreed and adhered to
  • Managing high quality inputs to the regulatory reporting pack and ensure smooth integration of deliverables into business submissions
  • Responsible for executing appropriate financial controls, including SOX controls.
  • Work with the wider finance and business services teams in the investigation and resolution of issues

  • Control framework assessment and assurance - Advanced
  • Financial modelling - Advanced
  • Planning, forecasting and budgeting - Advanced
  • Transaction and close process management - Advanced
  • Financial risk management - Skilled
