Are you an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer seeking a new permanent role We are supporting a permanent position that can be based in either Shalford or Warwick. Part of a world-leading automotive company you will join the Vehicle Engineering- StructuralAnalysis team. Responsibilities* Using Finite Element Analysis (FEA)to help guide the design and achieve component and assembly targets for mass, stiffness and durability.* Expected to perform linear and non-linear analysis.* You will be involved in the build of full vehicle FE models and subsystems, loadcase derivation, analysis set-up and execution, post-processing of results to generate design recommendations.* Liaising with a variety of teams to ensure design meets the requirements for timing, performance, manufacturability and cost.* Supporting R&D activities and the development of tools and techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the analysis department.Requirements* Engineering experience in the automotive, motorsports or aerospace* Good communication, problem solving and time management skills * Experience using FEA techniques to predict the durability, stiffness and strength and durability of structures* Experienced in test data analysis and correlation to CAE results* Experience of NVH and bush analysis * Experience in engineering programmes within Motorsport or Supercar* Hand calculations to support FE analysis * Practical knowledge of Altairs Hyperworks suite of software, including Hypermesh,Radioss, Optistruct and MotionSolve (or equivalent software)* Knowledge of nCodes Design Life software* May be required to travel both in the UK and overseasRemuneration* Competitive Salary* Company Pension* Life Assurance* Private Medical Cover* Car Scheme* Profit Share Scheme
