Your mission is to ensure a world-class member experience that supports increasedrecruitment, retention, satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance member engagement and retention, driving sustainable membership growth and diversity.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and personalised support to all members throughout their journey, regardless of their location or circumstances.
  • Foster member engagement by expanding the range of activities and opportunities available, collaborating with strategic partners, and leveraging feedback.
  • Drive inclusivity and diversity across our membership, ensuring representation of our members in all sectors of the economy and society.
  • Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion through inclusive practices, processes, and targeted initiatives.
Specific areas of focus will include:
    • Member Engagement: Establish high-quality engagement with members in the UK and oversee member engagement in the Asia Pacific region.
    • Student and Young Peoples Engagement: Develop effective strategies to attract, engage, and retain student members.
    • Volunteering: Implement volunteer support strategies to maximize member engagement and benefits, expanding opportunities for skills development and collaboration.
    • Professional Learning: Ensure all members have access to meaningful opportunities for personal and professional development through various media and learning channels.
What we are looking for from you:
    • Senior Member of a relevant professional body, demonstrating your expertise in member engagement.
    • Leadership and Management qualification, empowering you to guide and motivate your team.
    • Prince 2/Project Management and Change Management skills to drive strategic initiatives.
    • Proven experience as a line director, making strategic business decisions and managing diverse stakeholders.
    • A natural leader who can build, nurture, and develop a high-performing team.
    • An influencer who positively impacts individuals and promotes the reputation of our organisation.
    • A champion of change who leads by example, effectively communicating and implementing new initiatives.
