Cyber Security & Product Engineering DirectorUtilitiesRemote - 1 or 2 days per month onsite if needed12 months£1000 per dayIn short: We need someone with a security engineering mindset to build and drive a number of engineering teams to deliver secure migrations into cloud (Azure). You need to understand the technology landscape and steer the business towardsthe most appropriate solutions.Key responsibilities:* Own and develop the portfolio of cyber security products and solutions which safeguard the UKs gas transmission network against cyber-related threats and risks (i.e., solutions in the area of Monitoring, Detection & Response, Vulnerability Management,Cloud Security, Data Protection, Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access & Credential Management, Authentication & Authorisation, Customer IAM, Access Control, Data Protection, Business Continuity Management, Third Party Cyber Risk Management, etc.)* Develop the vision and drive the strategic evolution of the above-mentioned products & services portfolio* Lead, inspire and develop a team of product and engineering team members * Foster our agile engineering culture by growing and nurturing strong internal development teams* Report to the CISO and actively contribute to the development of our overall strategy as an active member of the leadership group* Contribute to operational activities (i.e., audits, security incidents, compliance reviews, budget & resource planning, etc.) and the further development of our cyber security discipline by providing insight and thought leadership on the services you ownExperience required:* A passion for security and building high-performing engineering organisations* Extensive experience in developing holistic strategies and implementing relevant cyber security products and solutions (i.e., in Detection & Response, Vulnerability Management, Data Protection, IAM, PAM, CIAM, Authentication & Authorisation, BCM, Privacy,and third-party risk management, etc.)* Familiarity with relevant cyber security designs and implementations in public cloud environments (e.g., Azure, Google, AWS)* Proven track record in security engineering and enterprise security architecture* Practical experience in application development* Strong people management, engineering, and leadership skills* Distinct communication and pronounced stakeholder management skills* Fluency in spoken and written EnglishNice-to-have:* Exposure to agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)* Expert know-how on managing security in complex heterogeneous environments and common security toolsets for access management, data protection, vulnerability management and at scale detection and response* Hands-on experience in Cyber Security Operations and Cyber DefenceCandidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.Please be advised if you havent heard from us within 48 hours then unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion, we may however keep your details on file for any suitable future vacancies and contact you accordingly.
