If you are a finance professional with a strong commercial acumen and a passion for driving business success we would love to hear from you.We are seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Finance Manager to join this dynamic team at within a leading logistics industry company. The role truly offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and make a significant impact on theirfinancial performance.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and business planning processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse financial data and provide insights on pricing, profitability, cost management, and revenue optimisation.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
  • Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend actions to drive revenue growth, cost efficiency, and overall profitability.
  • Perform financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, partnerships, and investments, providing accurate financial analysis and risk assessments.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare financial reports, presentations, and ad-hoc analysis for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance and business operations.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and analyse complex financial data to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems, Excel, and financial modelling software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
