Are you passionate about improving the lives of individuals severely affected by mental illnessDo you want to work alongside a dedicated group of colleagues who are all working towards the same goalWe have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Clinical Lead Nurse to join a leading mental health charity, working across 9 service sites within the Warwickshire and Derbyshire area.The role will see you working across 9 CQC registered homes and services across the Warwickshire and Derbyshire region, supporting them in their aim to provide flexible, responsive and needs-led care based on their core beliefs in recovery and the involvementof individuals in the management of their own condition. All of the homes have the ultimate aim of enabling residents to move on to more independent accommodation and sustaining their independence by providing access to flexible staff support that meets theirchanging needs.On a daily basis, you will be supporting with all day-to-day clinical management activities of the Derbyshire and Warwickshire Nursing Services under the direction of the Head of Nursing services, providing clinical direction in relation to reviewing andassessment of referrals with the lead nurses. Ensuring the clinical practice and competence of the clinical lead nurses will be of key importance in this role, as will be making sure that incidents and complaints related to clinical incidents are recordedpromptly and effectively in line with relevant policies and procedures.Providing clinical relief and cover for services sites as directed by the Head of Service, you will build strong working relationships with all staff and stakeholders across the sites in your area. Working closely with the Head of Service to ensure thatthe service operates in accordance with the service agreements, you will ensure full compliance with all professional and regulatory standards as well as providing guidance to Registered Managers related to clinical practice and research.To succeed in this great new opportunity, you will need to be a registered Mental Health Nurse with experience of directly working with people with severe mental illness. You will also be able to show you have previously provided effective clinical supervision,leadership and management of nursing staff and are capable of delivering training and briefings on clinical subjects.
