Job Description

Are you currently working in the FMCG, food retail or pallet industry This role could be perfect for you! You will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and wider parts of the business, ensuring the smooth operation of sales-related processesand maintaining accurate records and data.Client DetailsLeading food production company dedicated to delivering exceptional products to customers. With a focus on quality and innovation, the business is expanding the team and seeking a results-driven Administrator to play a key role in supporting the sales departmentand wider areas of the business.DescriptionResponsibilities:

  • Order Processing and Management: Efficiently process and manage customer orders from receipt to fulfilment. Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Customer Support: Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, providing excellent service. Resolve order-related issues and address customer concerns promptly.
  • Sales Coordination: Support the sales team in preparing quotes, proposals, and contracts. Assist in the development and maintenance of customer accounts.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the CRM system. Generate reports and analyse sales data to support decision-making.
  • Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication. Provide sales updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Generating reports using the internal CRM and Excel to format data
  • Administrative Support: Assist in the organisation of sales events, meetings, and presentations. Prepare sales-related documentation and correspondence.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Prepare and organise sales-related documentation, including contracts, invoices, and other relevant paperwork. Ensure that all records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for reference.
ProfileThe successful Administrator will have:
  • Previous experience in the food industry, pallet or FMCG
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proven experience as a Sales Administrator or in a similar role is a plus.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
