Job Description

Job Role: 1st Line Technical SupportLocation: Coleshill, Birmingham B46Salary: £18,532.80Benefits: 25 days holiday, Pension, life AssuranceTrakm8 holdings group PLC is a market leader in the fast growing vehicle telematics market sector. Based in Coleshill and other UK locations but with a global marketplace Trakm8 is well placed to take advantage of current market opportunities. Increased fuel costs, reduction in operating costs and numerous employment laws such as Duty of Care are all driving increased interest in our products and services. As such we now have an opening for an experienced 1st Line Technical Support Advisor to join our Established Customer Support team here at our Head office in Coleshill.Main Responsibilities of the role:

  • As a 1st Line technical Support advisor you will be Liaising with Install Engineers;
  • dealing with the Commissioning of Trakm8 and BOX Telematics supplied hardware on their respective platforms
  • Ensuring the correct asset details are taken at the point of commissioning
  • Carrying out full checks before passing or failing an install
  • Closing down/updating Works Orders within Salesforce with precise details regarding the work carried out and any issues encountered
  • Responsible for ensuring units have been moved to the correct customer Groups after installation has been completed
  • Requirements:
  • As a 1st Line Technical Support Advisor you will have Extensive customer care skills and experience
  • Will be Technically minded with the ability to learn and understand new systems and technologies to a level that enables you to support our customer base
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good computer and keyboard skills
  • An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • An ability to work independently and as a team
