Job Description

The companyA well established Electronics Manufacturer based in Warwick, who have a longstanding history of producing the highest quality bespoke Electronic products into a range of industries ranging from Robotics & Automotive through to Aerospace & Telecoms. Dueto an increase in demand with customers, they are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to the join the business.The roleReporting into the Operation Manager, a Technical Sales Engineer is required to join the team on a permanent basis.You will take responsibility for:

  • Account management of a range of customers from various industries
  • Interpreting customer requirements and Engineering Drawings and relaying this to internal production/engineering teams
  • Estimating costs & processing quotations
  • Working closely with technical teams to project manage orders from cradle to grave
  • Work with projects & engineering team to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget
What you needIt is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
  • Previous experience working within commercial and Electronic Manufacturing environments
  • Technically competent and able to read Engineering Drawings
  • Ideally experienced with estimating projects and BOMs (Bill of Materials)
  • A good understanding of MS Office products, particularly Excel
  • Able to work under own initiative and to follow instructions
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
  • Experience of handling complex electronic assemblies and box build
  • Previous experience in process improvement and some level of project management
  • A Bachelors degree in an Engineering or Manufacturing discipline, or equivalent experience
