Job Description

Professional Support Lawyer - part time Leamington Spa, Warwickshire with flexible working options£41k FTEDue to growth my client is looking to recruit a Professional Support Lawyer to join their Commercial Litigation department on a 12-month fixed-term contract for 3 days a week.The ideal Professional Support Lawyer will have:· Proven commercial experience able to devise and deliver communications materials within a business context· Experience of managing and supporting panel pitches and supporting on transactional tenders· Ability to juggle a busy and varied workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines· A positive attitude with strength of character and determination to succeed· Strong verbal and written communication skills; having an excellent command of the English language· Excellent IT skills, able to assist in the production and distribution of communications materials across various on- and off-line channelsThe Professional Support Lawyer will be responsible for supporting the team with: · Technical content for website/internal and external publications· Completion tenders/Legal 500· Legal updates such as key developments in case law, new legislation and Civil Procedure Rule updates (to include arranging or delivering training sessions)· Provide training materials for team on CPR/legal updates· Production and review of precedent templates· Identifying areas for improvement of productivity such as reviewing source of business/new enquiriesWhat you will receive in return:· Great starting salary· Family friendly hours with flexible working options· Guidance and support to develop your career within the Agriculture team· 25 days annual leave (in addition to bank holidays)· Pension, private medical insurance, life assurance and healthcare· Training and development· Subsidised gym membership, free on-site carparking and an active social committeeThis role would suit a Solicitor who is looking for part time hours and to be involved in legal cases without the billable hours aspect.
