Procurement Business Partner with experience of working in a multi-stakeholder and multi-site environment, excellent negotiation and team leadership/people management skills is required for a leading national company based in Warwick, Warwickshire,West Midlands.SALARY: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum + Generous Benefits (see below)LOCATION: Hybrid (2 / 3 days working remotely from home with the rest of the week working from the Office in Warwick) - You must live within a commutable distance to WarwickJOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentPLEASE NOTE: Candidates will need their own vehicle due to the remoteness of the site in WarwickJOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Procurement Business Partner with experience of working in a multi-stakeholder and multi-site environment, excellent negotiation and team leadership/people management skills.Working as a Procurement Business Partner you will be responsible for leading the development of strong relationships with business stakeholders to represent Procurement, ensuring that the function is delivering outcomes which are aligned with business priorities.The Procurement Business Partner will be embedded at senior level ensuring that the pipelines of work are generated and visible to Procurement well in advance and will translate business needs into actionable Procurement market facing requirements.You will understand business plans and strategy and requirements in the short, medium and long term, presenting forward-looking solutions which meet the strategy and will act as a trusted advisor for the business on all matters related to Procurement.APPLY TODAYIf this job looks like your ideal position, then please send in your CV as soon as possible for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as a Procurement Business Partner include:

• Act as the face of the Procurement function with leaders in Operations, ensuring any procurement related issues and actions are dealt with effectively and where required escalated as appropriate

• Establish and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on Procurement matters

• Identify collaborative procurement opportunities and potential benefits for the organisation

• Lead the integration of collaborative procurement strategies across the business where appropriate and in line with category management strategies

• Influence stakeholders to ensure the procurement policy is considered whenever procurement of goods and/or services is involved

• Develop and maintain the operations procurement plan looking at least 12 months ahead

• Ensure that Procurement is appropriately understood across the organisation and embed Procurement processes and procedures across the organisation

• Support the category teams to develop and maintain an accurate picture of spend landscape

• Lead the Procurement annual value planning process (12 month look-ahead)

• Provide specialist advice and guidance to the business on leading strategic procurement activities

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience of working in a multi-stakeholder and multi-site environment

• Proven experience of developing and maintaining effective relationships internally with other business areas and externally with suppliers

• Experience of working closely with operations teams

• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence at senior levels (internal and external)

• Evidence of successful delivery of procurement strategy and related benefits, including financial savings, across multiple spend categories

• Evidence of successful implementation of leading procurement practices including strategic sourcing, contract management and supplier relationship management

• Proven experience of leading strategic procurement in a complex environment, with a high level of uncertainty around predicted or future demand, and with a fragmented user base in multiple locations

• Experience of leading teams and dealing with people management issues

• Some experience of supporting a commercial bidding process by providing early input on third party costs

• Exceptional planning, organisational and problem-solving skills, communication skills, stakeholder management skills, knowledge of the procurement processes - advanced

• Understanding of finance and contracting - preferred

• Managing projects, innovation and idea management, problem solving, planning & delivering, change and implementation management - advanced

• Engineering Qualification Preferred

• Direct Gas Industry or Operations & Maintenance Experience Desirable
