Warwick or GranthamWe have recently announced the creation of Pilgrims Shared Services, a fourth stand-alone company, which will bring together some of the support functions of our current three businesses (Moy Park, excluding France and Netherlands, Pilgrims UK & PilgrimsFood Masters). Its purpose is to deliver a high-quality shared service to those three businesses.As the business grows, this shared service will broaden opportunities for career development as part of a far larger organisation. We will also continue our investment in technology to drive efficiencies and improved ways of working.The Shared Services company includes a dedicated Continuous Improvement function, whose core responsibility is to drive positive business transformation across the business. Reporting to the Director of IT Infrastructure, Operations & Cyber Security, we arepleased to advise that we are now recruiting for an IT Site Services Manager.The Role* Responsible for building and developing the function responsible for high quality, responsive and reliable onsite support for all Platforms, Applications and Devices within our IT Service Portfolio and Catalogue.* IT Service Delivery * Responsible for the delivery of site-based IT services into the Pilgrims European businesses.* To lead, develop and support team members, creating a high-performing and cost-effective team.* To execute the enterprise-wide IT Strategy, ensuring technology standards and operating procedures are fully aligned to maximise reliability, performance and availability of IT services.* Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreement (SLAs)* Business Relationship Management * To act as an Ambassador for the IT function.* Work closely with the business to become a trusted partner, respected for the quality of the advice, services and solutions we provide.* Continuous Improvement * Embed a continuous improvement culture within the team.Duties / Responsibilities* The recruitment, retention and well-being of personnel within the IT Site Services team, taking ownership of staff management and development within the area of responsibility.* Take an active role in the IT Management team, participating in vision and strategy setting, planning and execution* Implement the agreed strategy for development and adoption of technical solutions, platforms, monitoring of trends and management of complex technical challenges.* Evaluate and recommend innovative solutions that will enable the business to gain competitive advantage, and develop robust business cases which demonstrate a tangible return on investment and create value for the business.* Business Partnering - work closely with the business to ensure that incidents and initiatives are prioritised, resources are utilised effectively, and services are delivered to an agreed level of availability and quality.* Partner Relationship Management - Liaison with internal departments and colleagues in Pilgrims and JBS and external partners to ensure optimal levels of service availability, quality and performance in accordance with the requirements of the business* Develop, manage, measure and report on both operational and business-focussed key service metrics, participating in Service Review meetings with business units/areas.* Champion Customer satisfaction - tailor services and support processes to fulfil the diverse needs of a broad customer demographic, seeking feedback to improve services as appropriate.* Manage the administrative aspects of the team within area of responsibility.* Support the IT Service Management (ITSM) environment and processes, liaising with colleagues to design, implement and maintain ITSM processes based upon the ITIL methodology* Foster a culture of continuous improvement to optimise our processes and services, benchmarking these against our industry and external providers and enabling us to "Become the Best"* Act as a point of escalation for incidents, problems and service requests.What Youll Need* Proven leadership of IT support teams and significant experience of IT leadership and management in large scale organisations.* Excellent Communication, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal and organisational skills.* Experience collaborating with the business to develop, implement and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.* Hands-on experience managing and supporting a diverse portfolio of Platforms, Applications & Devices* Business experience gained in Service Management and/or Business Management roles* Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft "desktop" productivity applications.* Experience in defining and implementing new policies and standards.* Experience advising Senior Management teams within IT and business.* Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience of managing and leading people.* Formally qualified in IT through a primary degree or equivalent professional experience.* Experience of working in multi-site processing industries, ideally FMCG.Desirable* Formally qualified in IT through a primary degree or equivalent professional experience.* Experience of working in multi-site processing industries, ideally FMCG.* Experience of managing budgets and vendor-relationship management.* Strong understanding of Corporate GovernanceWhats in it for you* Competitive salary & employee benefits platform* Matched pension contributions* Access to the employee assistance program* Flexible, hybrid working environmentWhy Join Pilgrims Shared ServiceOur values are at the heart of our business and drive everything we do.
