Job Description

Our client, based in Warwickshire, is currently recruiting for a Head of HR Business Partnering on a 12 month fixed-term contract.The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary for this role is £80,000 - £90,000 + £7,000 car user allowance, with a 20-45% target bonus. The position is a full-time role, with up to 3 days working from home available.The successful candidate will have extensive HR experience working in a complex organisation with multi-layered stakeholders as well as experience leading/working in a Business Partner model.Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Motivating and leading a team of business partners aligned to different functions, developing the people strategy for each of those functions
  • Coaching and guiding the team to develop functional people plans as well as maintain an overarching business people plan
  • Building effective relationships with key business stakeholders in order to understand business needs to be able to deliver aligned people solutions
  • Acting as a trusted partner to the leadership team, performing as a representative in the senior leadership meetings
  • Supporting with senior level employee relations and holding overarching responsibility for Employment Tribunal risk exposure through clear direction and management of the ER landscape and the advisory service
  • Driving Organisation Design, including the design and development of new roles, operational workforce planning and overseeing the people element of business change projects
  • Championing employee engagement and culture programmes across the organisation, including engagement survey actions at Management and Director level, supporting HRBPs to deliver and cascade across all levels of the business
  • Leading on the Engagement strategy for the business, developing a strategy based on functional insights and feedback and setting actions for the business partners to deliver
Experience required:
  • Relevant and extensive HR experience (generalist and/or specialist) - working in an a complex organiastion with multi-layered stakeholders
  • Experience of working in / leading a business partner model, working with local managers and leaders to develop relevant people solutions

  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Effectively communicate across the various functions - ensuring that all functional people plans are aligned to the overarching people strategy
