Job Description

EHS Manager - Warwick - £45,000 to £50,000, plus 10% bonus, class leading pension and excellent benefitsMelbreck Technical are working with a world leading designer and manufacturer of specialist systems that are used in multiple industries, including automotive, rail and aerospace.Due to a planned expansion in their Warwick location, they are now looking for an EHS Manager to join them ASAP.EHS Manager - Role Overview:Reporting in to the Divisional EHS Manager and GM, you will be coordinating all aspects of environmental, health and safety management on site.You will be coordinating with all departments to actively seek out improvement opportunities for site safety, whilst nurturing a safety culture with all team members and driving cost reductionsThe role is an integral part of the Senior Management Team, working closely with the wider global business, as well as other locations.EHS Manager - Role Responsibilities:Manage and lead EHS programs and procedures to meet enterprise and business unit EHS objectives and targets.Lead and coordinate the EHS management system which includes the Corporate EHS Directives, maintain ISO 45001 certification, attain ISO 14001 and any other applicable EHS management system certifications or elements.Develop and maintain an EHS culture of excellence for safety and environmental management through effective communication, leadership and leading by example.Lead and manage an EHS training program for applicable EHS training required across the location for all team members.Work with HR and third party on requirements of an occupational health monitoring program related to identified workplace exposures and implementation of any recommendations for work place changes.Manage the facility statutory inspection program, including but not limited to Legionella, Asbestos Management, Electrical safety.Managing site Fire and First Aid processes and leading HPT’s to make a safety change where required.EHS Manager - Candidate Requirements:Good communication, influencing, teambuilding and employee engagement & empowerment skills.Must have strong process skills for standardization, continuous improvement and program management.Must have a passion for EHS and the ability to translate that to establish a strong EHS culture.Experience managing contractors (Permits to work, Risk Assessments, review Method Statements)Technically competent in EHS field and able to translate into practical action.Strong problem solving skills and experienceNEBOSH Diploma and/or equivalent experienceEHS Manager - Hours and Benefits:Working hours for the role are 08:00 - 16:30, Monday - Thursday08.00 to 13.00 on Friday25 days holiday, plus bank holidaysUp to 16% contributory pension schemeUp to 10% Bonus SchemeLife insurance schemeHealth SchemeThis is an amazing business to work for, and one that can offer you a transformative career with opportunities to progress in to more senior roles as your experience grows, so if you are looking for a new role then click apply or get in touch now!
