And its why were the UKs No. 1 choice for business waste managementHelp us make a difference as a Compliance Development Manager, which has a hybrid working model of roughly 3 days in the office and 2 at home and the office is based in Stratford Upon Avon (CV37 0HR).A quick look at the role.The Compliance Development Manager is a new role within our compliance department and the key element of the role is to assist and support the senior management team in building Biffpacks business position in line with forthcoming Producer ResponsibilityRegulations.The role requires an ambitious and motivated individual to manage complex projects and deliver tangible outcomes while also helping to shape our new scheme service.The Compliance Development Manager needs to be able to work independently as well as part of a team and have the confidence to manage their daily workload and action tasks with conviction.The role is Monday to Friday and will have the flexibility to work to a hybrid model with potentially 3 days in the office and 2 from home or alternative location.Why its an opportunity not to be wasted.Development

  • Assisting in creating project scope and key milestones for EPR service development.
  • Supporting analysis of existing scheme member data to calculate future obligations.
  • Taking ownership of and driving selected projects forward, providing feedback on progress and keeping to deadlines.
  • Working with Biffas marketing team to deliver strategic customer mailings, collating results and presenting back to the senior team.
  • Supporting launches of new services while assisting with marketing and communications.
  • Supporting IT infrastructure developments according to project plans.
General
  • Compliancy with the regulations and best practice.
  • Compliancy with all QA procedures.
  • Inspiring and Championing Biffa Compliance Scheme offer internally and externally.
  • Providing support to the team on various BAU tasks.
  • Championing of Biffa Compliance and company values.
RequirementsHeres what we require:
  • Experience of working with Environmental Regulations and the ability to understand new requirements as they emerge.
  • Experience of working on complex projects and leading actions through to completion.
  • Flexible to alternate between tasks on a daily basis and adaptable to change.
  • Loyal and trustworthy.
  • Knowledge of Producer Responsibility Regulations or similar is desirable.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Applications and other data entry software.
The Compliance Development Manager must be:
  • Comfortable with communicating at all levels by all methods such as face to face, over the phone and via email.
  • Confident at presenting and negotiating with strong influencing skills while being able to manage upward to ensure the senior team keep to project deadlines.
  • Analytical and forward thinking, able to process and understand large data sets with accuracy and in a timely fashion
  • Well organised with excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Able to manage own workload effectively while keeping to strict deadlines.
  • Able to communicate with conviction, plan with precision and most importantly, play well with others.
  • Comfortable with making decisions through the gathering of data and developing rationale for the decision made.
  • Robust and resilient while being able to absorb pressure and respond positively.
  • Confident and assertive.
