* Warwick or Craigavon based*We have recently announced the creation of Pilgrims Shared Services, a fourth stand-alone company, which will bring together some of the support functions of our current three businesses (Moy Park, excluding France and Netherlands, Pilgrims UK & PilgrimsFood Masters). Its purpose is to deliver a high-quality shared service to those three businesses.As the business grows, this shared service will broaden opportunities for career development as part of a far larger organisation. We will also continue our investment in technology to drive efficiencies and improved ways of working.The Shared Services company includes a dedicated Continuous Improvement function, whose core responsibility is to drive positive business transformation across the business. Reporting to the Business Process Manager - Record to Report, we are pleased to advisethat we are now recruiting for a Business Process Expert - Record to Report.The Role* Supports the Record To Report Business Process Manager (BPM) with the development and execution of the E2E process excellence strategy within Record To Report (RTR) across the Pilgrims Shared Services Company and business units.* Assists in identifying where change is required, proposing solutions and ensuring the model reflects best practices available from the market, to deliver best in class financial reporting and control.* Complements the BPM in driving a continuous improvement culture within Pilgrims Shared Services and the Business Units, acting as an ambassador for standard processes and common ways of working.* Owns the documentation of all processes, training materials and user-guides on behalf of the BPM.Job Responsibilities:* Works with the BPM to drive implementation of new solutions supporting processes, involving assessment, design, testing and roll-out.* Provides comprehensive high-quality documentation including process maps, SOPs, user-guides and training manuals, and ensuring this is in place for any new or changes to process, business structures and systems developments.* Ensures awareness of the RTR model across the organization through effective communication and training both on-line and classroom, encouraging and monitoring the effectivity of processes and solutions.* Becomes knowledgeable of all elements of the RTR process, to support new and less-experienced staff by providing training and support * Identifies areas for improvements within RTR, including the use of standard process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) to identify root causes of process issues and identify areas for improvement.* Develops and maintains regression test scripts for the RTR processes, coordinating regression testing.* Develops and uses KPIs to monitor process performance and identify opportunities for improvement, communicating appropriately.* Ensures sufficient business controls are in place across E2E process including SOx requirements.What Youll Need* Qualified or part-qualified accountant, with minimum 3 years experience using financial systems and processes.* Knowledge of an ERP and integrated financial systems (ideally SAP).* Strong analytical skills and initiative to solve problems* Good verbal and written presentational skills, capable of writing high quality documentation and delivering training courses and materials.* Able to influence at all levels, and able to negotiate respectfully to help resolve issues.* Experience in a food-manufacturing business, or FMCG environment.* Experience of accounting in a multi-site business, and knowledge of sites management accounting processes.
