Job Description

The Recruitment co are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Warrington, our client is an electronics distributor and assembler who are looking to expand the current team. This role is directly permanent with our client.You will be working as part of the engineering team and duties will include

  • Reading customer or supplier drawings
  • Creating, and reviewing work orders, planning daily work.
  • Use of small hand tools and various machinery for drilling entries
  • Assembling transformer breathers, junction boxes, control stations, distribution boards, switches or any other assembly work that may be undertaken.
The Job:
  • Communication with colleagues, customers & suppliers
  • Providing information relating to products and understanding customer requirements
  • Reviewing & Interpreting schematic, customer or supplier drawings
  • Managing stock control in the various workshops & daily planning of work
  • Assembling and wiring various products
  • Self-inspection of work (first off, last off etc.)
  • Communicating and working with the sales and purchasing office
  • Final inspection of other assembly work
  • Electrical current testing of assembled product (functional and continuity testing) on the job training will be provided
  • Onsite modifications working as part of a team, on the job training will be provided
