Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Wiring and Assembly Operative to join one of our manufacturing clients in Warrington who specialise in the design and manufacture of electronic systems.Due to a requirement to increase the team size to meet orders, a Wiring and Assembly Operative is required to join the sub assembly team at their Head Office in Warrington. The successful applicant will work in a busy department, assembling company products.Responsibilities:

  • Assemble company products in line with the advised procedures
  • Cable assembly
  • Hand solder wires onto connectors
  • Attach crimps to wires using crimping machines and hand tools
  • Read basic drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Carry out checks to ensure products are built to the correct standard
  • Pick parts and complete works order paperwork as products are built
  • Goods in support for supplier deliveries
    • Skills:
  • Familiar with tools and applications
  • Ability to solder to a high standard
  • Ability to identify colour codes
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Be able to demonstrate attention to detail
  • Ability to work on your own or as part of a team
  • Ability to use test equipment
