Job Description

Role: Warehouse OperativeLocation: WA5 (Omega Business Park)Hours: 12:00 - 22:00 any 4 of out of 7Salary: £9.50 p/hDuration: Temporary ongoingStart: ImmediateOur client, a fast expanding major player in the retail/logistics/supply chain market, are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Operative to join their expanding depot based in the Warrington area. This is a great opportunity to work for a market leading company !Duties include;

  • To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages.
  • Receipt and put-away of delivered product ensuring stock rotation and correct allocation of product dates.
  • Accurately pick product for loading, as stated on the picking sheet or WMS and in accordance with the picking procedure.
  • Load vehicles accurately, safely and in the right sequence as designated by the vehicle load sheets and in line with company policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform stock take as and when required in line with Company procedures.
  • Continuously review current processes, and proactively seek and implement methods of improvement.
  • Comply with all legal and Company policies and procedures regarding Health and Safety to ensure you work in a manner that keeps you and your colleagues safe.

  • Previous experience within a Warehouse environment is essential
