We take delight in knowing that our work makes a meaningful contribution to society, and we are proud that our culture is centred on integrity, collaboration, inclusion and excellence.*About the role:*As we continue to grow our digitalportfolio we are looking for a User Experience Designer who will be responsible for working as a member of ULs product teams to understand business goals and user requirements to deliver UI design assets for ULs software products websites.The User ExperienceDesigner also has advanced knowledge of additional user-centred design activities including workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, wireframing, research, and/or information architecture. This role will work directly with our engineering team to ensurethe quality of designs is delivered through working code.***What youll learn and achieve: ** Lead UX design activities on initiatives from beginning to end for ULs digital products and websites* Work closely with engineering teams during the sprint cycleto ensure required design assets are delivered. Collaborate during the sprint cycle to refine designs as needed* Understand and advocate for the client and end-user needs* Work closely with cross-functional teams to help define business and feature requirements,user scenarios, and use cases* Create UX and design assets including process flows, site maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and mockups to effectively communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviours* Present design solutionsinways that communicate the value of design decisions* Work closely with product stakeholders to ensure a full understanding of the product teams needs and priorities* Participate in weekly team meetings and design reviews* Work within project timelines, deliverdesign assets based on the product roadmap* Evangelize user experience and user-centred design throughout the company***What makes you a great fit:** Bachelors degree or demonstrated experience Usability, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychologyor relevant field* Expert knowledge of modern design/prototyping tools* Solid experience in User Experience design experience or demonstrated competency* Working knowledge of front end development, experience with modern Html/CSS, SCSS/SASS, and/or Angularframeworks such as Material Design.* Demonstrated ability in one more additional area of user-centred design such as; content strategy, information architecture, or visual design-* All Employee Incentive Plan (AEIP)all employees are eligible for a yearlybonus* Holiday: 25 days per annum, plus an additional day for every one years service (up to a max of 30 days)* Life assurance* Pension planmatch up to 5%* Bupa healthcare and dental scheme* Free eye test and contribution to eyewear* Enhanced family leave*Flexible- and remote-working options* Excellent training including Pluralsight and UL University* Regular lunch and learn sessions* Free parking when onsite*For US employees:** All employees at UL are eligible for bonus compensation* UL offers a generous 401kmatching structure of up to 5% of eligible pay.
