Job Description

Academics are working with a Warrington based primary school (Ofsted - Good), who are eager to source an experienced Tutor to work across Years 2, 5 & 6. The role will be reviewed on a term by term basis but is likely to run for the rest of the school year.You will be highly organised with excellent classroom management skills. Setting high expectations at all times and helping to invigorate and inspire pupils throughout their journey.Ideally you will have previous experience runnings booster sessions and interventions in preparation for Year 2 & 6 SATs.In return you will be provided with a fantastic and positive working environment, truly supportive peers, and genuine flexibility around your working hours.The roles require teachers with:

  • Experience of teaching within Key Stage 1 and Upper Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Ideally experience of SATs preparation, booster sessions and interventions.
  • The natural ability to plan and deliver the current primary curriculum with confidence.
  • The ability to provide engaging, quality education to pupils.
  • The ability be creative and demonstrate fun and intelligent classroom management skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with the primary school staff, children and parents.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be newly qualified.
