Job Description

Threat/ Incident Response Analyst Warrington*Remote* Style WorkAn international IT Solutions Provider is on the market seeking the highest of performing Incident Response Analysts to work in technical environments providing security services for a range of corporate organisations. This role will play a key part in deliveringcomplex, cyber security solutions, defending customers from all over the UK.The role represents a great opportunity for someone to take the next step in their cyber security career, to work amongst a team of passionate and supportive professionals. The team is growing and committed to maintaining a suite of innovative security tools.As a Incident Response Analyst you will be required to:

  • Participate in the implementation of Incident Response best practice on the various investigations
  • Mentor and develop less experienced staff in Incident Response
  • To work with security and IT operations at clients to advise on remediation plans in response to incidents
  • Assist with scoping prospective engagements and deliverables
  • Document and explain technical details clearly and concisely both written and verbally
As a Incident Response Analyst you will need experience:
  • Knowledge of at least one Incident Response framework, and associated stages, such as SANS, NIST, CREST etc
  • A minimum of 2 years of advanced security, digital and network forensics experience
  • Ability to conduct host forensics, network, forensics, log analysis, and malware triage in support of incident response investigations
  • Knowledge of appropriate Incident Response tools to aid in analysis, recording and reporting
  • Possess or in the process of studying for one or more of the following certifications: GREM, GCFA, GCFE.
As a Incident Response Analyst you will receive:
  • Base Salary: £40,000 - £60,000
  • Annual Bonus of 10%
  • Pension - 10% Double matching contributions
