A Tax Senior is required to join a Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Warrington on a permanent basis. The Tax Senior will join the tax team of the practice and be responsible for managing their own portfolio of clients from sole traders to owner managedbusinesses/Directors and high net worth individuals (HNWI).The successful Tax Senior will have relevant experience within an Accountancy Practice previously and will preferably be ATT/CTA qualified or qualified by experience.Tax Senior Position OverviewPreparing and file self-assessment tax returns and ensure compliance deadlines are met.Preparing and file forms P11D and P11D(b)Assisting with the preparation of R&D reportsAssisting with HMRC tax enquiriesProvide a point of contact for clients in relation to tax compliance.Assist team with ad-hoc queries.Tax Senior Position RequirementsPrevious experience of working in a tax role within practice is essentialATT/CTA qualified/qualified by experience/potential for study support.Good client-facing communication skills.Proactive in identifying opportunities for clients to make tax savingsExperience using IRIS software would be advantageous but is not essentialTax Senior Position RemunerationSalary £30,000+Working hours 9am - 5:30pmAnnual leave 30 days including bank holidaysPart time or full-time hoursPredominantly office-based but with some flexibility for home working.Opportunity to broaden your experience and work within a supportive tax team.Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
