Job Description

Role: Supply Chain Risk Manager(Public Contracts Regulations)Contract Length: 12 monthsLocation: Warrington/Carlisle/Crewe/Whitehaven - Hybrid working. Some travel will be requiredSecurity Clearance: BPSS BasicMinimum Requirement: As a Supply Chain Risk Manager your main responsibilities would be: Experience of managing and coaching people Experience working in a Category Management environment or equivalent Working in a highly regulated and industrial sector Working under pressure, managing multiple projects to tight deadlines Holding suppliers and colleagues to account Drafting and developing bespoke Terms and Conditions Negotiating with SuppliersYoull have relevant experience in: Detailed & practical understanding of identifying and managing risk related to Supply Chains Practical understanding of how to develop and implement a Supply Chain Risk management process Detailed understanding of the governance framework a public procurement function operates under e.g., Public Contracts Regulations, Government Commercial Operating Standards, Public Procurement Notes etc Building relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their key drivers, and managing their requirementsDesirable experience: Member of a recognised professional institute or body (e.g., MCIPS, IAACM, IRM) Degree in Business/Economics/Law or equivalent experience Usage of Atamis and Sage systems
