Job Description

Structural Investigation Technician - required for our client based in Warrington. The Structural Investigation Technician will be undertaking Structural & Pavement Investigations on sites across the UK, The Structural InvestigationTechnician will generally be involved in utilising latest test equipment and tools to scan, breakout and analyse concrete, masonry and steel structures.Our client are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual who has the ability to work as part of a team or alone. Whilst good communication skills and time keeping are essential. The Structural Investigation Technician must have a UK Driving Licenceand a CSCS Card with experience within the construction sector.Structural Investigation Technician Position Overview

  • Utilising latest test equipment and tools to scan, breakout and analyse concrete, masonry and steel structures.
  • Taking samples from structures for laboratory testing.
  • Diamond drilling of both concrete and bituminous materials.
  • Testing of pavement layers and subgrades.
  • Recording of detailed site notes and drawings.
  • Assisting with producing detailed reports using Excel, Word and equipment software
Structural Investigation Technician Position Requirements
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Ability to pass CRB checks if necessary.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Willingness to work additional hours, weekends, nights and away from home when required.
  • Willingness to learn and desire to develop personal skillset.
  • Additional tickets such as IPAF, PASMA, PTS, Streetworks, Confined Spaces etc would be beneficial, but not essential as courses will be arranged.
  • Previous experience would be beneficial, but is not essential, as training will be provided
  • Live in a commutable distance Warrington
Structural Investigation Technician Position Remuneration
  • Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 - (depending on previous experience)
  • Paid Overtime
  • Nightshift Bonus
  • Stopover Bonus
  • Expenses Paid
  • Hours: 0800 - 17:00 Mon- Fri (40 Hour)- (The nature of the sectors we support will from time to time require the candidate to work overtime, weekends, nightshifts and away from home so flexibility is essential).
