Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading manufacturing and distribution company as a Service Technician in Golborne, WA3 3JD. This role offers the chance to join a large FTSE100 group of companies in a varied role with opportunitiesfor progression.Service Technician job details:Permanent / Full-timeLocation: Golborne, Lowton, Warrington, WA3 3JD (Moving to Little Hulton, near Walkden within 12 months due to our clients growth)Service Technician Salary: £24k-£26k + bonus, depending on skills and experienceSome of your duties as a Service Technician:

  • Carry out repairs and services to equipment including repairs to crawler systems, cameras and control units
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems with systems to determine solutions
  • Liaise with customers to resolve technical queries, arrange service repairs, detail the faults found with equipment and explain the repair work that has been carried out
  • Complete service job sheets detailing labour hours and parts used, entering the details on our Sage system
  • Monitor stock levels and raise stock order requests
  • Goods in/out and warehousing support
What we are looking for in a Service Technician:
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
  • Proven electrical and mechanical background
  • Familiar with tools and applications
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to solder to a high standard
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Computer literate
