Job Description

Service Charge Accountant - Qube User Warrington + Hybrid working 3 days in / 2 days WFH £38,000 - £40,000 PermanentCobalt is delighted to be working with a leading property investment business who are seeking a Client Accountant Service Charge Accountant to join their high performing accounts team.They are happy to take someone on a permanent or part time basis but you must have Qube experience for this role.If you have a background in service charge and would like to grow alongside an expending company, this opportunity is for you.Duties:

  • Prepare the service charge budgets and demands for a large commercial portfolio
  • Get involved with all budget calculations and apportionments, expenditure and reconciliations of service charge budgets
  • Liaise with the property managers/clients/leaseholders regarding any accounting queries
  • Occasional availability to attend on site or client meetings - including budget or accounts presentation
  • Preparation of annual accounts for audit including collation of all supporting documentation
  • Management of the audit process in line with legislations and deadlines
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assistance to Property Managers in the preparation of service charge budgets.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as may be required
Personable attributes:
  • Qube experience or MRI Qube is a must
  • Prior knowledge of the property sector and service charge accounting essential
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Ability to build relationships across the business working closely with other departments
  • Motivated self-starter who shows initiative
  • Self -motivated, proactive with the ability to use your own initiative
