Job Description

To support this we are looking to recruit an experienced SEO ManagerThe Optionis Group is one of the UK’s most successful professional services companiesThrough our brands, we specialise in managing tax, employment, accountancy and legislative compliance for the UK’s small businesses and contingent workforce - our solutions are market leading, and we’re always looking out for the best possible employees.We require an experienced, confident, professional, highly motivated, hardworking and resourceful individual to join our digital team to help us grow our expertise in the online channel.The role requires excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills and the ideal candidate will be a strong organiser who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and work to tight deadlines.A passion for online and all things digital is essential and knowledge of an e-commerce business is preferred but not essential.Candidates must have experience in a SEO focussed role for a B2C business and be able to demonstrate successful development of such in a digital channel.Daily Responsibilities Include :

  • Accountability for the technical implementation of SEO across all group websites
  • Developing effective SEO strategies in conjunction with the Content & PR Manager to include:
  • Keyword Insight in line with business objectives, identifying SEO KPIs, planning link building campaigns, sitemaps and XML/ Agreeing content strategies with the Marketing Team and building out agreed projects online.
  • Responsible for ensuring the technical sign-off web content across all group websites in conjunction with the Content & PR team
  • Responsible for publishing content to the websites - acting as the Content gatekeeper
  • Create web dashboards to help develop strategies
  • Ensuring all content is unique and does not breach any duplicate content guidelines.
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and performance across all search channels to improve rankings and report out to teams in conjunction with the Digital Analytics Manager
  • Building business cases for future SEO technology investments in conjunction with the Digital Analytics Manager
  • Working with external digital agencies to achieve objectives
  • Budget Control for technical SEO- managing budgets and spend
  • Achieving or surpassing all financial and operational goals set
  • Ensuing compliance with best business practice
  • Co-ordination of activities with other teams within the organisation
  • Keeping the digital team up to date with new innovations in SEO
  • Experience Required:
  • Passion for SEO and internet marketing
  • Effective relationship building skills with colleagues and third-party suppliers
  • Good understanding of relevant technologies / webmaster tools
  • A keen understanding of commercial business requirements.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with individuals at all levels.
  • Demonstrates commitment to high professional ethical standards and workplace diversity.
  • Ability to adapt to, and support others through change.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Experience in a senior SEO marketing role
