Job Description

Our client, an independent construction consultancy, based in Warrington, are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join them due to continued growth. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be involved in all projects across the business which will include; Residential,Commercial, Leisure and Education. The role will be based from the office with travel to projects.It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have prior experience as a quantity surveyor within the construction industry. This candidate will need a full driving license and will need to be based within commuting distance.Key Points

Senior Quantity Surveyor Position Overview
  • Liaise with clients and contractors to provide accurate budgetary, contract and procedural advice.
  • Review budgets and contract compliance in detail.
  • Reporting upon project status, opportunities, and current workload for QS Services to the department head or Director.
  • Mentoring junior staff.
  • Prepare Schedules of Work.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements
  • Full driving license
  • Client facing experience
  • Chartered membership of the RICS (MRICS) or working towards
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in areas relevant to our business.
  • A relevant degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying
