Senior Process EngineerCompetitive Salary UK based role with European travel Senior Process Engineer required for a circular economy technology company within the biofuel and chemical industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with existing operations in Poland and Germany with expanding plans to open one of the largestprocess plants across the globe. To apply for this role, you will be a practical engineer with exposure to overseeing health, safety and environment procedures and legislation, project management, process equipment design, installation and operations. You will be able to demonstrate a trackrecord of delivering projects, from design to commissioning, and achieving results through managing technical service providers and working within tight timescales. You will also need experience gained on operating plants of the interactions between process,mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines. You will ideally hold a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent). Proven experience within the chemical or energy industries would be advantageous but is not essential. The role requiresa flexible approach and you will need to be prepared to travel when required. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal Program Engineer and Technology Director to help organise and support all aspects of major capital projects through the phases of design, specification and construction, to operation. The initialfocus of this role, which will likely continue until the end of the year, will be completing process improvements at the production facility in Poland. You will be responsible for completing pressure relief calculations, specifying, purchasing and commissioningequipment, relocation and recommissioning of existing equipment and the collection and analysis operating data to assist with the capital project programme. Whilst this role does offer the opportunity to work within the UK, a flexible approach to travel is required. Frequent travel will be required to visit the sites in Poland, Germany and the European project location. The Senior Process Engineer Role: * Working between the UK and European locations* Improving processes at operating sites in Poland and Germany* Completion of process engineering design within the project team for new circular economy process plants* Liaising with suppliers and contractors to oversee project development* Carry out or supervise technical calculations for process optimisation The Senior Process Engineer: * Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Degree ideal (or equivalent)* Experience in chemical or energy industry ideal* Proven experience of complex problem solving and delivering projects
