Currently looking for a HVAC Engineer, to support our global consultancy client who are delivering an exciting project into Sellafiled. This role would fall inside of IR35 scope and basic clearance will be required.The ideal candidate would be required to deliver modifications to existing HVAC systems design packages. These include C2,C3 / C5 and vessel vent extract systems and the associated air supply systemsIn addition, the candidate would be required to produce marked up drawings (VFDs & GAs) for issue to ACAD PDMS designers, produce / update calculations specifications and prepare technical reports, assessments and other miscellaneous documents supporting the HVAC design process (CDM risk assessments, OIMSs).Educational Professional Qualifications RequiredThe candidate must have at least 5 years experience of working within a highly regulated industry, 3 years experience should ideally have been gained within the nuclear industry.Be fully conversant with UK Statutory Regulations and industry design guides and standards relating to this discipline It would also be an advantage to be familiar with the relevant Sellafield Limited Design GuidesAdditional CommentsAutodesk CAD, Navisworks Freedom Viewer, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc.)Understanding of PDMS 3D space management.Our role in supporting diversity and inclusionAs an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
