Job Description

SAP Security AnalystWarrington£50,000ShortList have a great opportunity for an SAP Security Analyst tojoin an industry leading international company based in Warrington.The successfulSAP Security Analystwill providestrategic cyber securitycapabilityfor the organisation,includingcollaborating with key stakeholders to develop, implement and maintain theInformation/IT Security Programme, ensuring information assets and operationsare secured effectivelyResponsibilities for the SAP Security Analyst:

  • Assist indefining and standardize all SAP Security and Segregation of Duties relatedpolicies, procedures, workflows, and control sets based upon industry standardpractices, experience, and business needs.
  • Comply with risk management and compliance software solution, includingmaintenance of SOD Ruleset definitions, execution of SOD Violation Analysis andReports along with the understanding of Governance Risk and Compliance relatedissues.
  • Assist with the development of IT General Controls (ITGC) to address SOXrisks and execute and administer these controls as defined in the associatedcontrol descriptions; retain organized records to demonstrate execution of thecontrols.
  • Identify, evaluate, and assist with the implement SAP related securitytools, techniques, and mechanisms to meet business needs.
  • Participate in SAP implementation and upgrade projects and support ProjectManagement regarding all SAP Security aspects.
  • Work with internal auditors in support of risk management, compliance,and audit initiatives.
    • Skills required for the role:
  • SAP Security Training Courses & Certifications preferable.
  • 3-5 years SAP Security Design, Implementation and Administrationexperience required.
  • Extensive experience with SAP authorizations in SAP ERP
  • Understanding of BW/BI security module.
  • Experience with SAP authorizations in SAP HANA, SAP Fiori and SAP BusinessObjects is a plus but not required.Experience with Segregation of Duties (SOD) resolution and the usage ofGRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools.<span
