Job Description

To provide support within a busy manufacturing environment, acting as a linchpin, coordinating between production, engineering, purchasing & supply chain.Client DetailsGlobal manufacturing business in Warrington.DescriptionThe successful canddiate for the SAP Planner role will have the following key skills & qualities:

  • Plan the monthly casting sequence for both plants and shreds required put these into the daily production file, feed this information into the Power Bi report
  • Check UBC stocks on prime and cans and address as required
  • Meet with Yard Team Leader to discuss casting plan and timings/ discuss charge make ups and issues to allow these alloys to be cast
  • Meet with Metal purchasing incoming deliveries and stock levels to allow us to make the ingots required, deal with any issues arising
  • Meet with supply chain re casting orders and casting sequence
  • Liaise with tech re casting plan and moulds required revamp casting plan as required liaise with yard re scraps and timings for these changes
  • Chase production order numbers, saw, sales if any issues attempt to resolve ( head cavity failures etc. ) raise the relevant orders to cover these
  • Try to resolve any dispatch issues or queries of which there are many
  • Raise all the recs and grn all the invoices for
  • Overalls, UBC salt, GPP salt, Linde flt, access cctv, lime,
  • Join in wcm projects or run as required
  • Raising recs for the yard
  • Problem solving on daily issues of plan errors
    • ProfileThe successful candidate for the SAP Planner will be an experienced Supply Chain professional with a background using SAP.Job OfferSalary: DesirableMininum of 6 months (with a possibility of perm)
