Senior Quantity Surveyor / Construction / Warrington North West / Excellent Salary Above Market Rate £45,000 - £65,000 + Benefits + Car Allowance / Permanent Role / Excellent OpportunityNC Associates are working with a rapidly expanding construction organisation based near Warrington to help recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to work alongside the Managing Surveyor and Group Managing Director to minimize the cost of the deliveryand enhance value for money, whilst still achieving the required standards and quality from appointed companies. You will be responsible for all procurement of the development and keeping track of any variations to the project that may affect the costs andcreate reports accordinglyKey Responsibilities include:As Senior Quantity Surveyor duties retaliating to the below areas.

• Contactrisk analysis
• Approve all design information from consultants for each package
• Coordinate all Consultant information for the project packages
• Procure all subcontract trades involving other key members of the team ensuring best value is obtained and all subcontractor prequalification criteria has been supplied.
• Source materials for subcontractor packages
• Prepare Tender Docs for subcontractor packages
• Appoint all subcontractors packages
• Source materials for subcontractor packages
• Prepare Tender Docs for material & plant
• Appoint all material packages
• Hire and off Hire all plant required
• Produce Tender Comparisons for all packages
• Produce Subcontract and Material Procurement Schedules
• Produce BoQ for all packages when tendering
• Provide weekly Progress Reports
• Carry out Material stock takes weekly
• Produce material call of schedules for suppliers and site team
• Complete Consultant & Subcontract Collateral Warranties
• Compile all Warranties, Certificates, Testing & Commissioning
• Manage and collate O&M Manuals for project
• Adopt Project Budget Cost Plan
• Produce monthly CVR and update on a monthly basis
• Produce Project Cash Flowand update on a monthly basis
• Produce Monthly Valuations and meet with Employers Agent
• Complete all Valuations & Variations for the project
• Report and file all delays
• Complete Vesting Certificates when needed
• Control the Value Engineering of all packages and of design spec through Procurement
• Attend site meetings and subcontractors meetings through Construction delivery
• Produce Payment Certificates for all Subcontractor, Material & Plant
• Understand the implications of health and safety regulations
• Making sure all packages are being Building Control approved
• Manage all packages to be Structural Warranty approved
• Monitor quality control by subcontractors
• General all tasks to support the business

Requirements

• In depth knowledge and experience within the Quantity Surveying field
• A good understanding of all aspects of surveying and contractual procedures
• Understanding of the financial implications of the methods and sequences of build
• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry
• Good knowledge of commercial and financial management systems and controls
• Strong personal organisational skills
• Ability to work in isolation but also as part of a team within a growing business
• Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Excel
