Job Description

Your new companyAMB Recruitment Group are working one of the leading providers of fitout, refurbishment, M&E, facilities management, and construction services in the UK. This provides the best experiences through teams of different backgrounds and education.They are currently seeking x4 Quantity Surveyors to join their team who will be based in the Warrington area. They are looking to take on current Assistant QSs and promote them into full Project QS roles.Job details and responsibilitiesThe successful candidates will be involved in a variety of prestigious fit-out, build and development projects, for blue chip clients such as investment banking, universities and national organisations. The role of Quantity Surveyor takes commercial responsibility for the contract performance for allocated works to maximise both turnover and profitability for contracts allocated.Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Interfacing with other members of the internal project team
  • Ensuring accuracy and quality are to the standard required by the client
  • Take commercial responsibility for contract performance to maximise both turnover and profitability
  • Adhere to robust commercial process ensuring that the client obtains continued high quality, value for money and effective change management
Benefits of your new roleThe salary for this role is £35,000 per annum accompanied with a £4,500 car allowance.You will need strong previous experience and hold a full UK Drivers License. You will also need to hold a CSCS regular site visit card. The ideal candidate must be flexible with hours and be willing to work out of the Warrington base location and be basedon site as and when the job requires.The ideal candidate will also have strong leadership and team management skills, coupled with a decisive problem-solving ability and excellent time management skills.
