Due to continued growth and expansion, a leading engineering group has a new vacancy for Quality Manager to join the team. Candidates are sought with experience implementing and managing an integrated quality management system and will have excellent leadershipskills gained within a manufacturing environment.Commutable from: Warrington, Runcorn, Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, Middlewich, Northwich, St Helens.Salary: £ 45,000 - £ 55,000 p.a. + benefits Suitable for: Quality Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, QM, QAM, Senior Quality Engineer, Head of Quality.The RoleLead and manage activities designed to improve the overall effectiveness of the QMS.Coach, mentor and develop Quality functionImplement effective internal audit proceduresProvide guidance and support for continued ISO9001 and 14001 accreditationsFacilitate Corrective Action and Root Cause Analysis activities with other site functionsMaintain key relationships across all levels of the organization to ensure compliance to policies and proceduresIdentify and report on nonconformance issues and implement corrective actions in timely mannerEnsure that the QMS systems is regularly reviewed and improved to be fit for purpose.Be the quality representative with customersMaintain up to date knowledge of latest technical development, processes and proceduresCommunicate quality processes to Engineering and Operational Teams to ensure best practiceDevelop and provide training tools.Drive continuous improvement throughout the businessDevelop, maintain and improve quality processes and systemsThe PersonExperience working in production, engineering or manufacturing environment (ideally aerospace, automotive or highly regulated industry)Proven people Management ExperienceStrong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.Ability to multi-task with good organization and prioritization skills.Excellent computer and MS Office skills (with emphasis on Excel/Word).Experienced auditor with ISO 9001 auditing experience.Experience in conducting or facilitating Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action efforts.Work well under pressure with the ability to meet tight deadlinesFor more information send a CV to Danielle Neve
