Job Description

In return, youll receive a competitive salary, outstanding career development opportunities and the chance to work in a fast-paced stimulating environment.What will I be doingThe Asset Monitoring Division continues to expand in the UK, there is the requirement to grow the Project Delivery Team within the business to support both existing and new contracts. In order to support this growth an opportunity exists for an OffshoreProject Manager to join the organisation. This role would entail the planning, management and successful delivery of multiple projects.

  • Ensure that assigned projects are delivered in a safe manner, to schedule, within budget and in accordance with customer requirements, as defined in the Contract.
  • Ensure projects are executed in accordance with standard processes and associated procedures and that the governance is maintained throughout the project.
  • Ensure that projects are executed in accordance with agreed contractual terms and conditions.
  • Work with HSEQ Department to ensure compliance with all Safety, Quality and Environmental and policies, processes and procedures.
  • Accurately communicate project programme and commercial status and performance (weekly & monthly reporting) to internal and external stakeholders, in accordance with the approved reporting processes.
  • Identify, actively manage commercial and technical risks and opportunities.
  • Manage project constraints / conflicts (e.g., resource, schedule demands)
  • Management of change control and contract variations
  • Support activities associated with sub-contractor and equipment selection and acquisition with technical, commercial and procurement functions.
  • Assign and manage tasks to vendors, engineering, production and support functions.
  • Manage and coordinate effective communication between key stakeholders for the purpose of resolving technical, commercial or procurement issues.
  • Provide quantified feedback to Business Development and Sales teams on project performance, to inform future tenders and proposals
What experience do I needOur team consists of the best, highly skilled and qualified people and we want our new recruits to have the same attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do.
  • Significant experience of managing complex, high value (>£5M) and/or high-risk projects, preferably within the Offshore Wind industry and UK Construction Industry
  • Substantial contractual experience in managing contracts Tier 2 NEC 3 & NEC 4 contracts highly desirable.
  • Good working knowledge of UK Health and Safety Legislation
  • Experience with structural monitoring projects (highly desirable)
  • Experience working on offshore Wind projects.
  • Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Proven background in pre and post contract negotiation
  • Proven experience in contract change management.
  • Commercially focused and financially literate
  • Extensive risk management experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 (highly desirable)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Be flexible and available to travel to site in UK from time to time, in support of project activities.
  • Hold existing CTC level security clearance (desirableif not, then ability to obtain CTC level clearance is required).
  • Able to proficiently use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat PDF writer.
  • Knowledge of and/or interest in basic computer programming (desirable)
  • Engineering background (civil, structural, mechanical or electrical) (desirable)
  • Project management Qualifications (APM, PMI, etc) (desirable)
  • CSCS card (desirable)
  • No restrictions to work in the UK or abroad.
  • Driving licence required.
  • H&S qualification e.g., BOISIET, NEBOSH, IOSH (desirable)
  • GWO Training - desirable
