Job Description

Position Project ArchitectLocation WarringtonSalary up to £40K + travel + packageThe roleAn exciting opportunity as a large client of ours is looking to recruit a Project Architect to join their Warrington office in a design management capacity. A highly successful company working on some of the UKs most prestigious civil engineering and constructionprojects and over 2000 employees nationwide.You will be working on education, retail, and banking projects with values from £500k to £5m, experience working on education or fit out projects previously is essential. We are accepting applications from established Architect with experience leading projects.This role involves travelling to sites so you will need to be able to drive.Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Manage the proposals
  • Produce and negotiate the project specific designer agreements scope of works and the design management plan, ensuring they are agreed and fully understood by all parties
  • Ensure the project design is reviewed, mitigating Health & Safety issues
  • Produce & manage a realistic design programme & information required schedule satisfying design, procurement & construction requirements
  • Provide input into the design team PDRs
  • Support the implementation of Continuous Improvement programmes and innovation.
Candidate experience
  • The Successful individual will have worked on fit out or education sector projects previously.
  • It is recommended that they are working towards Professional Membership and professional qualifications in Building or Design relevant to the business stream.
  • Good communication skills are required, coupled with an ability to form effective relationships with partners under time pressure.
  • The individual should have a desire to continuously pursue innovation & development, with a focus on the customer and the relevant business stream.
  • The individual will have been the lead design Manager on projects previously and will have experience taking projects from inception through to completion.
  • Excellent IT Skills, Numeracy and good written communications skills are required.
