The client provides pest control services to the commercial sector (no domestic calls) and they specialise in the Food Industry and Pharmaceutical sectors. They do not advertise or use a sales team, trading solely on their good name and reputation. They allow our field staff time to carry out their service work, ensuring that the quality of our work is maintained.They have an excellent level of staff retention and a third of their field staff have worked for them for more than 15 years. Many of their staff have started / trained elsewhere and become frustrated with the lack of time and support they are given to complete their work to a high standard.Due to the imminent retirement of one of their Senior Biologists, the client requires an experienced pest control biologist, preferably already qualified as a BPCA Certificated Biologist.The role will involve servicing a number of our customers within the Food Manufacturing and allied industries. Geographically they require cover in parts of Cheshire/Greater Manchester/Merseyside/Lancashire/West Yorkshire. You will be required to carry out inspections at some of the largest food manufacturing sites in the UK as well as problem solving, communicating at all levels and delivering pest awareness presentations.Strong problem solving abilities will be needed, as many of their clients operate under unique conditions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. The successful applicant will carry out work to the highest standards. Further training is given if necessary. There will be weekend working, generally a Saturday, probably about once per month (factory shut downs).Required education:
