We are committed to achieving high standards of quality in all that we do.Position: Personal Wellbeing Manager (Emotional Wellbeing)Location: Warrington/HaltonContract type: PermanentHours: 37.5 hours per weekSalary: £24,000 gross per annumClosing date for applications: 27th May, 2021Interview date: 31 May 2021About the role:This team will be made up of a Manager and a Personal Wellbeing Advisor. Initial information received from Seetec shows that 65% of the delivery will be in Warrington and Halton with the remaining spread across Macclesfield, Northwich, Crewe and Chester.We anticipate that the Manager will therefore need to be based out of Warrington and Halton with the PWA at Chester. Outreach to Macclesfield, Northwich and Crewe will be primarily via the Personal Wellbeing Adviser with additional support expected from the Manager as required. Cover will be expected between the team for annual leave/workflows.Role Purpose:The Personal Wellbeing Manager (Emotional Wellbeing) provides line management to the Personal Wellbeing Advisor (Emotional Wellbeing) and oversight of Pact probation service delivery across their area.The Personal Wellbeing Manager (Emotional Wellbeing) is also case carrying and is responsible for delivering a personal wellbeing service focused around supporting service users to improve their personal and emotional wellbeing by building their strength and capacity to change their behaviour as well as their ability to engage with other services and activities which may assist them. The Personal Wellbeing Advisor may also offer support across other aspects of personal wellbeing.One-to-one support will be core to service delivery, building trust and undertaking activities and interventions that are best delivered face to face. Personal Wellbeing Advisors also deliver group sessions and workshops to support service users to address wellbeing needs and develop wellbeing skills.The Personal Wellbeing Manager is responsible for managing personal and team performance against service delivery targets, working in collaboration with the Prime Contractor Team Leader, and supporting the delivery of information to evidence delivery and outcomes. Partnership delivery will be key, working with other Personal Wellbeing Advisors and Mentors; National Probation Service (NPS) Responsible Officers and community services to support desistance from offending.
