Job Description

To support the ongoing growth and success of the Optionis Group we are looking to recruit a Pensions Administrator This position will be providing pensions support to our Parasol employeesAs the market leader within the umbrella / employment services market we are continuing to build our specialist teams .Here at The Optionis Group we recognise that as individuals we have different preferences in relation to home working / office based positions therefore we are happy to recruit this as a remote / flexible office working roleAs the Senior Pension Administrator you will be the internal subject matter expert, working closely with our busy Payroll and HR teams to ensure employees Pension payments are processed correctly and on time. You will be speaking to employees to ensure that they understand the process and working closely with Pension providers to confirm that payments are allocated correctly.Your main roles will include but are not limited to;

  • Reconciling weekly and monthly pension payments to ensure correct amounts are paid to provider
  • Auditing pension data
  • Answering and supporting questions from employees regarding their pension
  • Making changes on request for pension amounts to be processed
  • Working directly and building strong relationships with account managers at pension providers to ensure smooth running of transactions
  • Carry out complex pension administration tasks and calculations in line with company guidelines
  • Ensure updates are announced to employees in a timely manner for legislation changes such as lifetime allowance
  • Ensure SLA’s are met in opening of accounts for employees
  • Manage, update and produce policies/ processes in line with pension management
  • Review the system and work on improving communication with employees
  • Supporting the delivery and administration of additional benefits
  • Report on trends and findings which could impact employees/ company
  • Skills and Experience Required:
  • Solid experience of working in a specialist Pensions role
  • Strong experience of working with different pension schemes and providers
  • Experience of working within a large volume employer ideally Umbrella or an Outsourced Payroll provider
  • Reconciliation knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have a proactive attitude
  • Strong reporting/ excel experience
  • Prides themselves on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in other benefits administration (not essential)
  • Relevant pension qualification (preferred but not essential)
