Job Description

Do you have a passion for sports Do you thrive on teaching, engaging and inspiring younger childrenAcademics are working with a Warrington based primary school who are looking for a PE coach (unqualified) with just that passion.You will support the schools physical education provisions, teaching primary age children the PE curriculum. Ideally you will have experience working within a school environment with primary age children, and you will lead on a variety of sports activities including (but not limited to) gymnastics, athletics, football & dance.The role is suitable for:

  • Unqualified Teachers.
  • Cover Supervisors.
  • Teaching Assistants.
  • Sports coaches.
  • Graduates with a passion for sports.
  • Sports specialists pre PGCE
    • You will have:
  • A passion for sports or sports coaching.
  • A positive, professional attitude with energy and enthusiasm.
  • The ability to utilise effective strategies to use sport to engage and drive your pupils to learn and progress.
  • An inspiring demeanour.
  • Calm & patient manner.
  • Strong communication skills .
  • Knowledge of the national PE curriculum.
  • Experience of delivering sports coaching sessions in a school environment.
