360 Recruitment are a specialist Technology recruiter, currently recruiting for a OSS Systems & DevOps Architect to join one of the fastest-growing MSPs in the UK.Role:OSS Systems & DevOps Architect(Work from home)Salary:£60,000 to £70,000+ Benefits25 Days HolidayLife AssuranceHealth PlanStart Date:We are looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible/ in line with your notice period.Location:Remote role (Home Based)Type:Permanent Role - Full-timeOur client is looking for a OSS Systems & DevOps Architect, who will be up to date with the latest technology trends and capabilities and will work with technology leaders to establish a roadmap to evolve the department in an appropriate technology direction.The OSS Systems & DevOps Architect will be responsible for testing and developing technology and software used for fault and performance management and implementation of managed services, supporting the DevOps initiative, driving the adoption of DevOps technologiesand processes within the business.Scope & Key responsibilities for the OSS Systems & DevOps Architect:

  • Development, engineering and implementation of OSS Systems managing product portfolio.
  • Designing process and best practice managed service solutions to monitor key performance indicators.
  • The design and implementation of orchestration delivering automation on tasks such as new service provisioning, MACD configuration and software patching.
  • Solving problems to manage unique and sometimes bespoke services.
  • Ensuring operations teams are enabled to deliver a high quality managed service using the toolsets developed and delivered by the OSS engineering team.
  • Building reliable, secure and highly available monitoring solutions.
  • 4th line support for OSS software incidents and fault resolution.
  • Adherence to all relevant legal, regulatory & ISO-based Policies, SOPs, Codes of Conduct, Handbooks and Process Workflows.
Skills & Experience of a OSS Systems & DevOps Architect:
  • In-depth technical knowledge and experience across the Telecommunications industry and enterprise IT service architectures.
  • A proven track record of delivering OSS, Fault & Performance management software, automation and orchestration in a Telecommunications and/or IT managed services industries.
  • Expert-level knowledge of management APIs and Protocols such as REST, SNMP, Netflow/IPFIX, gRPC, Telemetry Netconf, etc.
  • Experience with commercial and open-source toolsets such as Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana, Terraform and Ansible.
