Job Description

This role is responsible for the safe and efficient physical movement of products within the Warehouses and Magazines in the company. You are responsible for maintaining an accurate stock report as well as partaking in the stock reconciliation process whilstdoing the physical picking, packing and receiving of goods from and to the warehouse.Client DetailsOne of the largest providers in the mining and quarrying industry, serving customers across in over 100 countriesDescriptionThe key responsibilities for the Logistics Coordinator will be:

  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment
  • Prevention of unsafe practices at work through interaction with team members and stakeholders.
  • Perform all picking, packing and receiving of goods as per system requirements whilst maintaining the integrity of the product and accuracy in serialised products when applicable.
  • Record all movements of products in the system in order to maintain constant and accurate live stock information.
  • Safely store and move goods within the warehouses.
  • Perform stock takes following Global standards and procedures
  • Maintain accuracy of SAP Master Data for products and materials at Field Operations sites and Regional Manufacturing sites.
  • Complies and be involved in any authority of changes or management of change within the site.
ProfileThe right candidate will:
  • Have experience in a transportation or warehouse operations (Picking activities).
  • Have excellent communication
  • Have understanding and working knowledge of SAP
  • Have Experience of working in a highly technical and constant changing environment.
  • Be able to demonstrate example of capability of operating without supervision.
  • General knowledge of business.
  • Basic to Medium computer literacy required namely
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint
  • Self-starter, motivated and acute attention to detail.
  • Driving license.
Job OfferGreat opportunity for an excellent company paying £25,000 working Monday - Friday and standard working hours of 9am - 5pm (which can be flexible to meet demand!)
